Produced by the Anam Earth Center for Sustainability and Culture, Trial of Ages is a short film about intergenerational climate justice.
In the future, young people hunt old people and put them on trial for crimes against the environment. One young couple struggle to do the right thing and avoid the mistakes of their elders.

MoJo Murphy
Writer and Director
MoJo Murphy is a writer, director, actor and environmental attorney based in upstate New York. He has directed two feature films and multiple shorts, including Earth Day 2030, which won Best Comedy Short at the 2020 Albany Film Festival. His film projects reflect his interests in environmental education and policy, told through entertaining stories.

Sheila O'Shea has been part of the upstate film/theater community since 2010 when she played the gentlewoman in Macbeth. She has been Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace, Bo in Last Night of Ballyhoo, the Countess in The Women, Trinculo in The Tempest as well as roles in films Romeo 3000, Break Glass and Earth Day 2030 to name just a few highlights. She has been Grandma in the web series Welcome Home and Fran in the series Quaranteam.

Steven Patrick O'Connor
The Old Man
Steven Patrick O'Connor (He/Him) has been involved in filmmaking for over two decades in many capacities. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has appeared in many films and television series as a background actor. Off screen, he has been the producer/executive producer of more than a dozen independent films and s television pilots. Steven has also performed production assistant, location scout, and location manager duties for film projects in upstate New York. He also was the longest-serving president of the Upstate Independent Filmmakers Network.
Britt McFadden (they/them) had the honor of portraying The Judge in Trial of Ages. This is their 3rd film project; after spending much of their acting career doing live performances around the capital region. Britt wants to thank MoJo Murphy and Steven O’Connor for considering them for this role, as well as the cast for coming together to create this impactful piece of art!
Amy studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and has been active in the Capital Region Theater scene for over 40 years. Performances include Our Town and Inherit the Wind at Capital Repertory Theatre. Amy played Rose in Neil Simon’s Rose and Walsh, Regina in Lillian Hellman’s Little Foxes and Another Part of the Forest, Miss Marple in A Murder Is Announced, and much more. Thanks always to her children, Sarah & Ian. All performances are dedicated to her husband, David Louis.
